Ministry
Descriptions
If you
are interested in being a part of any of these
ministries, contact
Jeff Franks,
unless otherwise noted.
Homeland Missions & Recovery Team
Teams from our area
have traveled to New Orleans for the past two years
to help with recovering efforts. In early
2008, we will return to the Gulf Coast.

Volunteers purchase and wrap gifts for children from
Canton Local schools that otherwise would not have
presents at Christmas. This ministry operates in
November and December.
Benevolent and Emergency
Relief
Financial support and emergency relief are available
to those that have valid, demonstrated needs. This
relief is done through a screening process. Special
situations call for special skills. There are
volunteers who are “on-call” to handle these types
of situations.

Background Lights Team
This teen drama team uses music,
drama and comedy to expresses messages of hope, love
and most of all, the opportunity to accept Jesus
Christ as your Savior.

A ministry of caring, loving individuals who spend
time with those that are sick in the hospital or
nursing home so that family members can have a break
and get needed errands completed. |

A beginning of the
school year event held at all three Canton Local
elementary schools and the middle school each
August. Community groups, churches, youth
programs and school faculty help to make each event
fun, informative and a great kick-off to the year.

Hammer & Nails
This ministry, while not a ministry of North
Industry Christian Church, provides members of NICC
and the greater Canton community the opportunity to
assist disadvantaged homeowners with home and
property improvements. For more information, check
out their
website. .
Food Pantry
Donations of non-perishable food items and paper
products are accepted year-round. The pantry serves
families on a weekly basis.

North Industry Christian Church is a host site for
Meals on Wheels in our community. Individuals
volunteer just 90 minutes a day to deliver meals to
those who can not get out of their homes. To
